Concert Requirements - All Instrumental Groups
All performers are required to attend dress rehearsal and the concert each semester. Dress rehearsal and the final performance are held at the Kroc Center at 1275 E Broadway Phoenix. The concert is 35% of their grade - if they don't attend the concert, they don't pass this class.
All performers are required to wear appropriate concert dress, bring their own instruments, and bring their own music to the Kroc center.
Performers must provide their own transportation. Heritage Academy will not provide transportation to the Kroc center for any instrumentalists EXCEPT FOR PERCUSSIONISTS! Percussionists must meet at Heritage Academy at 4pm on the day of the concert, in full concert dress. They will load equipment onto the trailer and then they will be driven to the Kroc center in a school van so that they can help setup the equipment before the concert starts.

For the winter concert, some of the scholars wanted to wear Santa hats. I am allowing this, but it is not required.
Scholars' attire will be approved at the dress rehearsal. If their attire is not appropriate, they will have two days to change it before the concert performance on Thursday. If they show up at the concert on Thursday in inappropriate attire, they won't go on stage, they won't receive credit for attending, and they will be in danger of failing this class.
